During our nine day June trip to Puerto Rico, our waking hours ballooned with multiple activities. Jean and I met potential and current Hermandad beneficiaries, visited friends and recorded a video before our return to Maryland.
I wanted our video set in Puerto Rico. My video sermon centered on sharing the story of Hermandad and the inception of our endowment fund.
Many people ask what we do and how we got started. Most of the time, we share the most concise answer. All of us have limited time.

We stand in awe of their service amidst continuing challenges. Many adversities arose long before Hurricane Maria’s wrath in 2017. We designed “The Reverend John and Mrs. Jean Knight Endowment Fund for Puerto Rico” as a growing active fund for Puerto Rico. We have already given from it multiple times this year.
